The southern part of Lamma Island is hilly and is a good place for hikers. Lo So Shing Beach is just as good as Hung Shing Yeh Beach: fine sand with clear water. If swimming is not your cup of tea, go try fishing at Fish Spawning Grounds (Sok Kwu Wan).

Shum Wan is where green turtles nest and is listed as a conservation area. If you are lucky, you may be able to see turtles nesting onshore. For dining, Sok Kwu Wan is lined with seafood restaurants where delicious seafood is offered at inexpensive and reasonable price.
